Just Fine

from Battling the Sun by Astra Kelly

/

about

This was written just after I'd moved to San Diego and I still hadn't found a job and had almost gone thru all the money I had. Things did turn out just fine.

lyrics

Time fades away, and I wonder how things will be.
Pieces of me are all that are left and I’m holding out for the best.
Yeah, I’m holding out for the best.

And I’m so tired of waiting that I don’t know what else to do.
If I can keep things together than I think I’ll be ok with you.
Yeah, I think I’ll be just fine with you.

Chorus:
With the veil down, we will see again
When it all goes down, we will be full again
Like we were all supposed to be in the end.

What is fading away? All my relations and old complications.
Only so long to be young, comes earlier than later and fades away faster and I’m

So tired of waiting that I don’t know what else to do.
If I can keep things together, I think I’ll be ok with you.
Yeah, I think I’ll be just fine with you.

Chorus:
With the veil down, we will see again
When it all goes down, we will be full again
Like we were all supposed to be in the end.

La, la, la, la, la, la, la
I think I’ll be just fine with you
I know I’ll be just fine with you.
